Autotorq gets new CEO
June 30th, 2010 by Richard Aucock
AUTOTORQ has announced Stewart Niblock is to become the new chief executive officer of the digital web firm.
He moves into his new role after 18 months as chief operating officer there.
His mission is to continue the company’s growth in business, while also further strengthening the management team.
Niblock said: ‘The company is at a pivotal and exciting point and I am confident we will continue to deliver controlled growth in our European and global markets in the near future, as well as reinforce our reputation for providing outstanding support and guidance to our clients in helping them succeed.
‘I am looking forward to further strengthening our team by recruiting the best possible staff in the industry to help us achieve our goals with clients.’
The company’s core focus, he said, is to help all its clients attract, convert and retain more customers online and improve their efficiency and profitability.
He certainly has a strong background of experience to call upon: prior to Autotorq, he was head of new projects at easyGroup – where he was responsible for many of the brand’s early ‘easy’ platform extensions.
Clive Jackson, founder of Autotorq and CEO of sister company Global Beach, said: ‘I am incredibly happy to see Stewart take over as CEO at a time when we are rapidly expanding our business and need to have a strong and focused management team in place.’
Don’t forget, Autotorq.com is headline sponsor of this year’s Car Dealer Ewards which launch in the next issue. Stewart will be also on the judging panel for this year’s event.
