Autoquake’s top honour
September 20th, 2010 by Richard Aucock
AUTOQUAKE.COM has become the ONLY automotive company to appear in an influential Top 100.
The Guardian’s Tech Media Invest 100 recognises companies which have shown innovation and creativity in e-commerce and technical media over the past year.
This means Autoquake’s name appears alongside Shazam, Tweetdeck and Zoopla!
Autoquake’s CEO, Dermot Halpin said: ‘Everyone at Autoquake has worked hard over the past year to make our website quicker and easier to use, and to deliver even better value used cars to our customers.’
But what’s the Tech Media Invest 100 all about? Well, finding the most eligible, promising companies that investors might be able to make money on in the future.
Evaluations are made on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, innovation, management, global strategy, and ecosystem integration.
A too-name Advisory Board makes the final selection – and when you consider this consisted of some of the UK’s most experienced investors in modern technology and media, including a mix of venture capitalists, investment analysts, professional advisers and technology lawyers, you can understand why Autoquake is so chuffed…
