Autoquake grows again
September 23rd, 2010 by Richard Aucock
AUTOQUAKE.COM has responded to demand from a third of its customers with a new London handover centre.
1 in 3 Autoquake buyers are from the London area. They will now be better served by the new handover centre in Southall.
The site was chosen because it’s easy to get to: minutes from the M4, or a 15-minute train ride from Paddington station. Finding such a well located site, says Autoquake CEO Dermot Halpin, was a key priority.
He now expects it will bring further growth for the expanding company.
‘It’s an exciting time for everyone at Autoquake. We have more cars for sale than ever before, but still at the same low prices.
‘Car buyers are really embracing internet shopping, and our new London site means Autoquake.com is ready to meet the increasing demand for quality used cars online.’
If you’re keen to know what the secret is, listen to the first customer, Dan Clifton-Climas: ‘I’ve been really impressed by Autoquake. It was a really easy buy. Loads of information, no pressure and you know exactly what you’re buying and at what price.’
What’s actually at the new site? Well, facilities include a full technical workshop, said Halpin.
‘Over 40 photos of each car are taken in a specially designed photographic studio. These are uploaded to Autoquake.com so customers can see exactly what they are buying before visiting the handover centre.’
This actually offers advice for all car dealers, too. If Autoquake is investing so heavily in providing bespoke facilities for producing images, are you doing the same?
