Aston Barclay rebrand
December 10th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
ASTON Barclay has become England’s 3rd largest remarketing company after bringing together 3 family firms.
Westbury, Chelmsford and Prees Heath Motor Auctions will all now be known as the Aston Barclay Group.
They will help the firm achieve 60,000 sales per year.
Aston Barclay is now aiming to further increase its share of the fleet, dealer and light commercial remarketing sectors, says chief exec Les Scarborough.
‘We don’t envisage becoming the largest remarketing company or, indeed, being the largest supplier in the market, but our 3 sites are all set for steady growth over the coming years,’ he said.
‘Prees Heath and Westbury offer vendors sites that geographically aren’t served by any other auction supplier, while our new site at Chelmsford has scope to extend beyond its strong following among dealer and light commercial vendors.’
A big part of this drive, he added, will be the new online auction service, that offers FREE auctions to vendors – see astonbarclay.net for more details.
