ASE opens for business

TODAY, Trevor Jones Chartered Accountants and ASE Ltd merge, creating a new company – ASE plc.
ASE Ltd is an acknowledged automotive professional service provider, while Trevor Jones boasts considerable car dealer expertise.
Amalgamation talks started back in February; the completion today sees the reorganised group open its doors.
Robert Jones, MD at the new ASE plc, explained the reorganisation. ‘Both the Trevor Jones and ASE Ltd businesses are now under common ownership, both focusing on dealer network profitability and reducing operational risk.
‘The combined business will enable us to offer our clients a higher standard of service, and deliver enhanced benefits through improved systems, increased motor trade specialist staff and additional services focusing on profitability.’
Activities for the new business include collecting monthly composite data from 7500 dealers, and providing audit, taxation and professional services to around 320 privately owned dealer groups in the UK.
