HARRATTS of Yorkshire now has a starring team of 11, with the opening of its latest new car dealer.
The family-owned firm has just opened a Honda new car dealer, next to its existing Volvo site. This, it says, is one of the largest independent Volvo groups in the country.
In the process, it has created 30 car dealer jobs. It also makes it the 5th new car franchise Harratts will represent.
This sees the jobs total of the firm, which has been trading since England won the World Cup with its own famous 11, grow to 380.
‘We are a long-established, family-run business that prides itself on customer service, training and staff retention,’ said MD Shaun Harratt.
‘The kind of values that resonate with customers.
‘We have built a loyal customer base, a stable workforce and a solid management team which, combined with our business ethos, has enabled us to drive sales and expand in a time of market contraction – a position that few other motor groups find themselves in.’
Which car makers does Harratts represent, then?
• Honda
• Renault
• Nissan
• Peugeot
• Mitsubishi
• Volvo
The firm also reveals it sold 8000 new and used cars last year – along with more than 1000 corporate cars, too.
